1998 Volvo T-5 2.3L turbo manual - $8,500 (Bozeman MT)

Manual, with much stripes & gauges.

"Only thing needed is a front end alignment and front tires" - Maybe from too much camber and smoking front tires?

Not sure how one goes through all of those upgrades, and ends up with less hp than stock. And running a screw through your pillar pod & trim is a sure sign craftsmanship
He’s probably reporting at the wheels, but that screw really hurt

My guess is two many puffs on the crack manual boost controller and he knows his rods are not long for life

Sigh, I miss Jim. He would have an opinion to share…….

I didn’t even see that, it only made 226 hp? That’s horrible. My cousin’s makes around 290 with only an eBay intercooler, Snabb RIP and intake, OBX exhaust and a stock 300k-mile 16t.

As for the screw in the pillar pod, I’m guilty of that. There’s really no better way to secure it unless there is not a hose behind the boost gauge.
However, mine is a Volvo T25 screw that’s black and matches. That one looks like crap lol.

Heavy duty double sided tape. You can cut and stack pieces to fill any voids and get good contact on the trim. Just need more of it when doing a three gauge pod. ( note; I painted the pod gray to match the interior, but it looked like **** from the outside, so I had to go back to black )

I don't see how this is much different from my stock red one, aside from stripes and wheels and front spoiler. And un-modded factory horsepower baby!! (my tired seats don't look like that however)

I tried multiple times with multiple tapes (my trusty Gorilla and 3M) and nothing held for more than a day or two. It doesn't look as clean as it would with some good double sided tape, but it works for me!
I guess it's a philips and not a T25.

When I first put mine on, it would fall off when I hit a bump. Sometimes when I just closed the door. Finally used some isopropyl alcohol to remove all of the years of protectorate, and it stuck. Been a couple of months with no movement at all.

I probably could have done a better job of cleaning everything. That makes a huge difference with that stuff.

Perhaps something similar to this would work also.

Ah, that would probably work well. It’s certainly more visually appealing.
