Which turbo engine for high hp?

Basically I'll be doing a project, unfortunately I cannot source a 2.4 t5(b5244t5 which has thicker liners + exhaust and intake vvt) which severely limits me, because most of the engines have a 83mm bore and thus prone to cracking, right? My s60 is MY2005.

At best what I can find so far is B5244T3(2.4 t3 but it is 83mm bore) or some turbo 2.3, but those lack the VVT, which for me is sort of a deal breaker because that VVT is free hp basically. Or the infamous 2.5t which is obviously the wrong choice here, as even with shims people claim they cracked the liners.
