I tried multiple times with multiple tapes (my trusty Gorilla and 3M) and nothing held for more than a day or two. It doesn't look as clean as it would with some good double sided tape, but it works for me!
I guess it's a philips and not a T25.

I'd value that more like $2k on the high end. Nice looking car though, right color and transmission. 2000s are fairly uncommon with a manual, and that knob is worth big money.
