Story gets stranger. Both the Super Bird and the Dodge were inside. Seems this poor fellow owns four (4) winged Chrysler products from the heyday of weirdness in NASCAR. He moved two to some safer place, then - keep in mind this is Florida, so we are talking about Florida Man here - for some reason he left the other two on the four-post lifts in the garage. Water weighs eight pounds a gallon, and it was angry when it came ashore. The garage doors were no match, the cars took flight.

If you aren’t a sailor , you might not know this. When wave heights are reported , it’s the median wave height that’s given. Nature doesn’t have a nice machine that generates nice even wave height, and She loves random variation.
Rule of thumb is you expect waves of at least 2x in normal seas, and3x in rough seas

These are the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider from the mid-50s to about 1960. Aluminum twincam 1300 with Weber carbs.
In about 1960, they made them a bit longer, with a bigger engine, and bigger taillights. It became the Giulia Spider.
