What's the proper ratio of thick ATF to regular ATF to be used in a power steering system with a slight leak?
I just bought some Valvoline MaxLife ATF Stop Leak as recommended by many users here. The bottle's directions for transmission use are:
"Add one bottle (1 quart) for each 10 quarts of transmission fluid... Not intended as a substitute for Transmission Fluid. Do not exceed 1:10 quart mix recommendation."
For people who have used this, what ratio of Valvoline to regular ATF have you used in your steering system?

The term plug a leak was used in the MVS link. I believe it swells the old seals like the ATP AP-205 rather than plug. I used a the full 8 oz of the AP205 in the transmission and 4 oz in the PWST. The PWST was for preventive while the transmission had for a very minor drip and it worked.
Since the Valvoline is a blend of trans fluid and stop leak a quarter bottle wouldn't hurt. That being said should check the capacity of the PS fluid in the manual and scale accordingly.
