well, it's been done! sold yesterday to a great guy planning to use it as a winter beater. cried a little (a lot) after watching it drive off but i feel so good knowing it's going to be put to use the way it was intended. thank you all!

I was almost tempted to buy it as a next challenge but having a different colored tailgate and tailgate spoiler and paint repairs to the front RH fender would drive me crazy. I would have to paint it and that is too expensive on a 400,000km car. Replacement panels are also hard to find as it is an unusual color which I have only seen twice. I love the color but rare. My friend just had her tailgate repaired and painted as well as the rear bumper and that was done very well but was $1700.

I am just glad someone else bought it as I would feel I had to rescue it and the 'boss' would have killed me!! :o :lol: :lol:

he said he'd been looking for a volvo for a while, i trust it'll be treated nicely.
