Hey all, MDK here. So, when I got this one a few years ago the heated seats didn't work. The light on the dash pops on when you turn it on, but nothing. The fuse is good. So, yesterday a senior Volvo tech gave me a heated seat module. Are they all the same for that chassis? I've been having trouble trying to find it.i looked under the seat but couldn't identify which one it is.

The little black seat heater module is right under the seat should be obvious, e.g. pics here. Are they missing from your car? Or did the tech give a different module? Post. a pic if so.

For most P2 modules the rule is '01-'04 for one CANBUS speed, '05-'07 for the other. Not sure if true for seat modules too. Additional info here viewtopic.php?t=93247

Rear defrost and seat heater not working? Have we ruled out an issue with the CCM perhaps

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.
