I've seen him on Youtube, the guy is an animal! I'd love to have him nearby!
Robert can have a manual trans on the ground in less than 30 minutes in a PnP, but he obviously doesn't care about the rest of the car, and it's already on stands. I know a guy who owned a transmission shop who could have a turbo 350 out of a Chevy in 15 minutes - but he did hundreds of them over thirty years.

There's a guy on Youtube that does a lot of work on GM 4L60 transmissions. He had a video of him removing one out of a Silverado or something in under 7 minutes. No cuts, no time lapse... it was done in real time in 7 minutes. I wish I could have that kind of efficiency in a junkyard!

Is the UK guy the one without dialog in his video's, or at least the one I saw where he removes a clutch in a, V50 I think.
Way cool how he just points at things as he's going, without explaining, and it all makes sense.

I did get dropping the whole AWD subframe on a P80 in a junkyard without breaking anything other than possibly rusted sub-frame to frame bolts, to about 2 hours without power tools. Now if I had a high output cordless impact driver.............! That included disconnecting the propshaft.

And if you don't have anything else Milwaukee, this thing is an absolute beast. My brother picked this one up right when they released it and it's as good as my Milwaukee.

Appreciate that info. Harbor Freight unfortunately is US only. The Hercules Brand I can only find in the US. EBay.ca lists Hercules tools but they all ship from the US so have the usual stupid high shipping. Don't know why they call it Ebay.ca when everything on there ships from the US?!

I don't have Milwaukee stuff so would have to order the battery and charger which is close to $700 CDN which is a little high for my pockets these days.

I will keep looking, maybe a good use tool will come up or like many brands whoever makes Hercules may sell it up here under another name?

Would be nice to have that tool though!

I'm surprised Princess Auto doesn't have their own brand of the Hercules and Bauer stuff by now. I'm sure they would be popular, Harbor Freight's lines of power tools are getting better constantly.

I'd also look at the Rigid high torque impact. Very similar to the Milwaukee at a more wallet-friendly price!

Unfortunately I have Dewalt 20V battery stuff. Not a fan but started with a 4.5" cordless circular saw which is one of the best tools I own. Naturally having a charger and then more batteries the tools have grown in number. They do sell a 1200 ft/lb 'breakaway torque' tool through Amazon at $300 CDN.

We also have a Ryobi 1 battery and charger and they do a 600 ft/lb item. It sells for under $200 CDN.

Princess Auto does have a lot of power tools but not high torque stuff yet. Maybe one day. They Have Pro brand tools, Power Fist (their budget tool line) and some Genesis stuff. I have the Genesis metal cutting circular saw in 4.5" corded. That actually cut through 5/16" plate steel!

Dewalt has come out with some impressive stuff in the past year or so too, their new 20v high torque is excellent. I have a 12v 1/2" drive stubby Dewalt impact that I keep at home, and it's awesome. Puts out around 400 ft. lb., and the number doesn't seem too ridiculously inflated compared to others. It can handle wheel bolts most of the time, but had to go grab the Milwaukee to take care of the ridiculously seized bolts on my mom's XC90.
