Does somebody know if there is an engine limitation when the service light remains on for a long time ?
Currently, my engine speed does not exceed any more 3000 rpm and the speed limit is about 150/160 kph.
Without that, the engine functions well and there is no suspect noises.

As far as I know the Service Engine light is just a timer - it has no functionality over the engine components.
With a 3K max limit on the rpm, I would first put in a new air filter, clean the throttle body, flame trap, and check every hose that is connected to the intake. The next step would be to check the exhaust - specifically the cat to see if there is a restriction. The next thing that I would replace would be new plugs, wires, rotor, and cap.

True. If it was the Check Engine (lambda) light it would be entirely different. As far as I know the Service Engine light is just a timer - it has no functionality over the engine components.
