I think I'm using intake manifold bolts for the thermostat housing.

I couldn't see any where to input car and model info. What information do they require? I'm thinking I should maybe buy a kit in the near future to add to the 'future proofing' parts stash!

Talking of the 'stash', I've spent a couple of days now sorting and re-listing all the larger spare parts (new and used) I have in the garages. I think I am up to over 30 boxes of parts and those do not include all the smaller stuff which will double the length of the list. Maybe a winter project on that and even labeling all the hanging plastic tubs!

Tomorrow start the winter tire swap on the V70R. In it's case it is fitting the sacrificial tires for the winter hibernation! Also need to do an oil change. Snow is on the way for tomorrow and next day followed by more over the weekend. high of -12 to -14C Monday on next week!

I believe this is the 19t for the 2000 R https://www.turborebuild.co.uk/webshop/ ... -Core.html

You have to find them by part number, I usually find that with VIDA or one of the parts sites.

In a slight hurry to catch my train this morning, I forgot to leave the other car key at home. So after I dropped it off, I inadvertently peeled out in Blue Steel. The tires are less than a year old, so I wasn’t worried that they were worn out, but I did smile a little knowing that my 24-year-old V70 still has some pep!
