Not meaning to fall too far down the rabbit hole...

This guy knows how to post an ad; probably not a bad ask for the car either.

'72 1800E, $5k is a pretty strong ask for a semi-basket.

Sometimes a $50 bill is too much!
Got $200 from salvage yard for my kids old Focus so probably safe up to that amount.

That $2500-> $3500 XC90 was a great score in today’s market, Krons.

For sale is my 2004 Volvo V704 6-speed manual. Has about 175k miles. Black exterior with dark blue “Nordkap” interior. Runs and drives very well, will be an excellent daily driver with winter right around the corner, just needs some love here and there. No leaks, smoke, rust, or major mechanical problems. All Wheel Drive works great (rips through the snow effortlessly), heat and A/C work great. Engine runs smoothly, clutch operates smoothly, transmission shifts smoothly. During my ownership, the oil was changed every 4000 miles with Castrol Edge, replaced all 5 spark plugs and one igintion coil that was beginning to fail, replaced all pads and rotors and flushed the brake fluid, tires and wheels were resealed (thoroughly cleaned corrosion from and treated the beads of the wheels with etch primer) and balanced, had to cut the resonator out of the exhaust and replaced with a pipe due to it rubbing on the driveshaft, new cabin air filter, new front and rear and headlight wipers, and replaced a bunch of burned out light bulbs (fog light bulbs aren't installed yet). Engine is probably due for the timing belt and PCV service sooner or later, and a full fluid service. Comes with an aftermarket DICE diagnostic interface module to be used with Volvo's VIDA diagnostic software (I had it installed on a laptop but the laptop died and I never bothered fixing or replacing it; it's not terribly difficult to install on your own, or you can purchase a cheap laptop with it preinstalled). Fun features about this particular V70R: Obviously, the 6-speed manual. It has the rear-facing 3rd row jump seat! This car has the integrated navigation with the popup dash screen and remote control; I don't believe I have a DVD for the navigation, and the latest revision from Volvo's website is 2014, lol. It does operate, though. It has the 4C adjustable suspension, but it is very finicky.
Known/noted issues: passenger headlight wiper doesn't work; two of the front lower grilles are missing; hood struts need to be replaced; fog lamp bulbs need to be installed (I stole a pair out of one of my other cars but never installed them in the Volvo, will be included); the new brake rotors will probably need to be replaced or cut/turned, they warped after only a few months of use (not thrilled about that); the downpipe/catalytic converter needs to be replaced it unfortunately got damaged while removing the resonator, and broke up the catalyst element inside (a good used replacement will be included); the 4C front struts will need to be replaced, they both throw fault codes as soon as the car starts moving, but SOMETIMES they work and when they do they all work properly; the driver's seat outer bolster is tearing at one of the seams; the A-pillar trims need the fabric reglued or replaced; the oil change/maintenance/service reminder will NOT reset no matter what I try (manual reset, using VIDA, battery reset); alarm/siren module needs replaced like they all do; passenger front door lock actuator does not work, the motor works but is stripped out, it will still manually lock though; the rear wiper arm parks wherever it wants to, never bothered me enough to look into it; one of the tires doesn't match the other three, but they all hold air and are in decent shape with about 65% tread; and overall the car just needs a proper detail and paint correction, and the old paint protection film removed.
Despite some flaws, it is still an excellent running and driving car. I've just lost interest in it and don't drive it anymore. I had big plans for it, but after buying a house and moving, my priorities have shifted to the house and actual projects. I had my fun with it and enjoyed it, and now it's time to pass it on to be enjoyed by someone else. I'd like to get $5500 out of it, might be negotiable. I would love to trade it for a Subaru Baja or a 2010 or newer manual Suzuki SX4 hatchback, but cash is king. As previously stated, the DICE module, a pair of fog lamp bulbs, and a good used catalytic converter will be included with the car.
