CVVT Solenoid Substitution?
The gasket, oil passages and everything else seems identical except for solenoid body and plug. Just add plug and wiring from newer style to the old wiring.

Didn't really want to forgo the cost or go through the trouble of installing a larger rear sway bar. Decided instead to installed 10mm shims on the rear wheels to widen the rear track and help with turns while filling the fender gap.
The front end is a little lighter with quicker steering response. Less understeer on turns and less wallow feeling from the rear when pushed on an on/off ramp. Car feels a little more stable also. If I ever have other use for the 10mm will try 15mm for the back and 10mm in the front. Fronts rub the fender liner on slow full locking turns.

ABS & Brake Warning Lights - Seems Resolved
Scanner showed ABS light as P0500 and was the left front ABS sensor. Removed, cleaned and checked wiring.
ABS light continues to come on and would go out once in a while. The Brake warning light would then come on concurrently with the P0500. Speedo stops and LCD display would also show nothing but hyphens. Once in awhile the car would go into limp mode but would resolve by itself.
Pull the ABS Module plug and cleaned a little then pushed in and out a few time. A P0600 eventually came on with the P0500 but would also resolve by itself. Eventually the P0500 stopped while the P0600 remained.
The Brake warning light would come on more frequently with the P0600 and eventually limp mode. The P0500 caused infrequent limp modes while the P0600 with the Brake warning would guarantee it sooner or later.
Today I pulled the ABS plug again. Broke the cap hinge in the process so had to use a screw driver to pull the 2 side securing slides out to remove the plug. Removed the slides completely and pushed and removed the plug a dozen times. Installed the securing slides and then zip tied the cap back on. So far no more codes.
If P0500 comes back on, the front driver's ABS sensor will be changed. If the P0600 then an ABS module refurbish. If both then both
.
No P0600 after both the Brake warning and ABS light went out by themselves. Hope they will not return! Just the P1672 left now.

Purchased an eBay cover shiiped from China. No padding, ill fitting and too short besides wrong pattern. Plan B, peel all the thin leather off the center to the first stitch on the old cover and sprayed with Plasti Dip. Worked on the sides but made the top too rough besides needing too many coats to effectively cover the surface.
Remembered I had some carpet tape and since the old cover filled out the new one I decided to try and stretch the new one over the old. Used it first to secure the old one back on then overlapped the old one to the plastic so the new cover won't pull up the old cover. Used spray contact cement on the last cover job but didn't think it would work here. Without the instant grab of the carpet tape all the stretching to form the conture of the armrest would be in vain.

Nice job! Now just expect a load of packages from other MVS'ers for similar re-builds!

Thanks. Seller said she would make a proper pattern one for me but I didn't want to wait. They refunded me for the cover and I was just going to toss it. As mentioned there was no plan C. Since the new cover can go cover the entire old cover decided to give the stretching a try after finding the carpet tape purchased 2 years ago. I'm sure I've use it, I think
Perhaps if enough MVS'rs want one she could either discount the old one or make new one with bigger sides. Still an easy on with the carpet tape and covering the old leather.
