Ordered a new thermostat and upper radiator hose from FCP while I wait for the weather to cooperate so I can get the old radiator out.

Now I’m wondering how I’m going to replace the disintegrated radiator side clips.

Got knocked on my ass by covid over this week, been meaning to source some winters as mine seem to be worn/wearing out. Hoping i got a spare tube up north to last the winter

"Winters" as in tires? How does the tube come into play?

I saw my first P80 Volvo in town as I was coming back from buying a new bulb for the driver's side headlight. I believe it was another S70. I looked in my rearview mirror and it was behind me.

Autocorrected a few parts on it. I put winters on my car but they wore odd the previous year while sorting new summers out and a control arm issue. I have a spare tire (without the rim) up north that i might switch onto the front passenger to keep this set going for one more season.

Finally got the rear hatch open on the newish "parts" car. Found a full size steelie spare, and...this:

Owned multiple dozens of cars, worked on multiple hundreds, don't think I've seen a lug wrench both mangled and cracked. Looks like the jack had a hard life too.

I've found some pretty mangled lug wrenches in these cars. They seem to be pretty soft!

They only thing I use them for is the tightening of the lugs. That way , I have a chance to get them off on the road.

Discovered a loose sunroof drain after a rainstorm left swimming pool on the driver's side. I think I'm just going to replace the entire tube and route into the pillar rather than use the volvo connector. Anyone tried basic hardware store vinyl tubing?

I’m not totally sure how the tubes are routed on the P80s, but speaking from experience with sunroof drains, don’t pull that hose out unless there’s a serious problem with it (split/cracked somewhere along the hose). I had a hell of a time re-routing the line on my dad’s Explorer after I had removed it to inspect it for damage.
I’d just make sure it’s secured to the sunroof assembly.
