Installed the Simons 020-H5R exhaust on the 855R today. Definitely slightly deeper sound but not obnoxious. Will put some miles on it this week and see how it sounds.

There is reputable lore here that even cam cover top/bottoms have been mismatched successfully, it may have been GuruJimmy who posted on this. There is a thread on where the ID match mark numbers are located here too
Hmm, I guess the surfaces were similar enough that it sealed.

Tried to find a replacement dial for my manual climate control unit. Realized the ECC dials are smaller than the manual climate control dials. I cannot find my spare one for the life of me which means i may need to look to ebay or check by some miracle volvo still sells them. I have seen a total of 1 other MCC unit in yards and at my mechanics over the past 2 years so it may be slim pickings. My mechanic kept that MCC and dials as a spare as they are so allegedly rare.

I needed the temperature control ones, looks like volvo has them for 32 canucks a piece so there are options out here.

Can you post a picture of the MCC front plate and dials? I think I may have pulled a set including the front plate as like you I find they are rare in the yards here. I just can't remember if it was from a 850 or V/S70.
