Then there was the Talbot Lotus Sunbeam which was similar looking but 2 door hatch to the Dodge Omni. Ran a Lotus 2.2 liter tweaked engine with about 150bhp. These were rallied but were already being outclasses by the Audi Quattro.
The red Volvo abscate has shown looks lovely in that color.

That is a great color, very similar to the venetian red on my wagon. Not sure if that is the exact color on this S70.

Found this one on Craigslist a few towns over before Christmas, in the Barter section of all places. Without a skid steer to offer up I decided the $5k price was pretty reasonable based on prices I’ve seen. (He dropped it from $6k earlier in the week.) Made the 2 hour one-way drive late this afternoon / tonight, ran solid on the way home. Not a fan of the aftermarket wheels so that’ll be a search for some stock rims.

2008 Volvo C70 hard top convertible. 119k miles. Everything works. Turbo 5 cylinder engine. Great mileage. Never driven in winter. Has a cracked headlight shown in photo. Looking to trade for bobcat skid loader or other equipment. Or would sell for 5k.

Didn't think of that; it would come complete with the sporty subframe and the wishbone brace too, although it's on the verge of pricey for a car to be butchered.
