As long as I can pick my favourite colour, I’ll be ecstatic.

Once stage 5 autonomy hits , those who want to drive actively will be stuck in traffic while autonomous flow is optimized.

Based on this AP quote I question whether a 2-3 year lead time is adequate on a currently undefined requirement: “The law gives the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an agency under the Department of Transportation, three years to define which specific technologies cars should begin using. Once defined, automakers have between two and three years to comply.

Very strange to have a law that is not even defined. Seems lawmakers should vote when there is an actual proposal of what is being mandated.
