1997 850 wash and polish

Bit of a wash and polish and

2 new tailgate struts to replace dads piece of 2"x1" (£16 the pair )

(and a pack of trim clips to replace the ones broken by use of afore mentioned wood ) (£4)

Set of wind deflectors for all 4 windows (£36)

And 10 minutes repairing broken connectors on the heated front seats (free)

Bluetooth tape adaptor so I can play my phones music through the surprisingly well sounding (Premium audio pack speakers/stereo )(£12)

And I'm frankly lovving it ....

Very nice indeed ! You can get spray touch - up paint for those scuffs below the bumper.

( In my family, only one of the dogs is interested in running around chasing a ball )

Love that colour and they are nice to drive with great seats. I have a back injury and managed 100km in one days driving and could have done more with no back pain.

Glad you managed to return the car to the road. Hopefully you will have a lot of fun with it.

If it is a non-turbo you can get reasonable mpg too. We had a 93 850 GLT (non-turbo/NA) and it would do up close to 40 mpg (UK gallons of 4.5 liters) on a good run not going crazy.

Yes it's definitely comfy ....and feels very nice to drive ...
Useful too with,a heap of space for tip runs and days out at the beach with the dogs ...
AND having fun giving it some love and attention .
Never realised what a soft spot I had for the 850s.
