Took the opportunity today to investigate an issue that I've had for years - can't recall when it started happening.
The issue is that the left rear set of speakers (tweeter in the left C pillar and woofer in the left rear door) don't work. I swapped the rear tweeters and the issue is with the signal, not the tweeter itself. Checked the owners manual for fuses and I don't see any specific to the speakers.
I thought that somehow I'd disconnected the rear speaker when I changed a light bulb a few years back, but no such luck. I'd expect that all the signals for the speakers connect via a single harness into the back of the radio (I have the base 8 speaker one in my 2006 V70) so odd that it would just be the one corner of the cabin impacted. I've got a GROM connected for my iPod and the Motorola factory bluetooth set up for phone integration - put those in maybe 4 years ago...not sure if that might have been the cause.
Not a huge issue - I suppose I'm not a huge audiophile
Any thoughts?
