I just swept crusty snow off my car and pried the frozen hood open to extract the battery for charging... at 1 am. Need to have it mobile before the snow plows come tomorrow morning. The poor thing has been sitting for two months due to severe misfire, severely overdue transmission fluid change, and the broken tailgate window. All three of these will be fixed when I can finally make some time.

Nice work. Looks great. I'm also jealous of that glove compartment with all screw holes intact. I have been wanting to transplant good tabs from one ruined compartment to replace broken tabs on a good compartment. Not sure I can make the epoxy thin enough to fit well. I have so many plastic repairs to do, mostly slight interior trim cracks. I'll be a pro replacing dash pad mounts after I do it on my three cars.

I'm going to do a couple trial runs on repairing one using black ABS cement thinned lightly with acetone. My bonus is there is an intact one out back under the pin oak in Poor Old Blue.

Then I took it out for a short drive to make sure things are happy after the NA cam swap.

Even was able to finally make use of the parking brake, now that it works.

Engine feels good at the currently cam timing settings, so we'll leave it for now until the weather is nicer for more tuning/testing.

Haven't driven my 00 S70 for a few days or much at all but the 850 dash seems so much nicer and spacious in terms of design. Will compare it if I drive it today. Nice looking car!

The dash is the main reason I don't have a 98-00. I HATE the interiors on those.

The 98-00 has a much more modern, welcoming interior. I like the antiquated feel of the 850s though.

Really clean car ! You don't see many in that condition anymore.

I wonder how many transmissions I would have to go through, before I could shift lefty....
