I believe abscate is referring to the private message method of contact to him.
Find a recent post from him in thread above.
Click on his posting name "abscate" in right side contact information.
In the new window, find Contact abscate information on the left side and click on Send Private Message.
I think you will be able to attach files there.

If that does not work and you want to speed this process, just send about 5 more short messages and you should pass the Spammer filter and be able to include attached photo files.

I live in Indianapolis and would totally be willing to drive somewhere in the general vicinity if someone were willing to help. I’m not sure when the last time the cap and rotor or spark plugs were changed. The guy I bought it from took VERY good care of it… I got super lucky, saw his fb marketplace post pretty much the minute he posted and immediately text him and was like-
I will buy it.
Anyway, he had done a ton of maintenance on it, much of what he told me about, but I didn’t think at the time to write it down and don’t remember. I just need someone to look at it and
Check all these things you guys are mentioning because I don’t know if any
Of the mechanics I took it to checked those things. They didn’t really communicate much with me and were basically just like, it’s not showing up on our computer so, 🤷🏼‍♀️. I was referred to a couple euro/Volvo mechanics and I called for a diagnosis quote at one of them and it was 375$. Just for the diagnosis. So I didn’t do it. I only paid 2500$ for the car so I’m not looking to dump a BUNCH of money into
It. It was really hard to start this morning at 17 Fahrenheit and did the buzz noise again right before it started. That’s how I know when it’s finally going to start.. I get the buzzing noise. I thought about getting a multimeter last night at harbor freight but don’t know how to use one, so I didn’t get it. Plus there were option ranging from 10$-70$ and I didn’t know which one to get. I did get under the hood and check a few fuses yesterday to see if that’s what was causing the buzzing. The buzzing comes right from where the fuel pump relay is. The. 2nd mechanic said the pressure of the fuel pump was fine but the guy I bought it from said it’s the original fuel pump and the car has 220k, so he wouldn’t be surprised if it needed replaced. I’m just frustrated with mechanics and hesitant to waste more money to take it to another one only to be told they don’t know what’s wrong with it

This is the one you want. Also available at Lowe’s

You can bypass the fuel pump with a jumper wire or we can find you a spare relay to try

Don’t bother with cheap aftermarket parts here. The buzzing isn’t a good diagnostic. The fuel pump relay only engages for a short time on startup so some noise is normal

It kind of does sound like an ECT issue. Might also be a FP relay (which could be the buzzing you hear, as it's located right in front of the driver in the cowl)

I don't know of any mechanics, as I do all of my own work, but where in Indy are you? I might be able to lend a hand, or at least put eyes on it for a quick diagnostic.

Im in cottage home neighborhood. Just off 10th and College by The Garage and Center Point Brewery. A diagnosis is really all I need help with, I have someone who can likely do the actual repair once it’s been identified, he just isn’t able to diagnose the issue. Thank you so much for being willing to help.

I have the material for the fuel pump relay jumper cable. I bought them the other night, just waiting for assistance with the actual process because I don’t think I have the tool to open the cover of the fuel pump relay area.

You need a T25 Torx driver or driver and bit to remove the 4 screws. Careful not to lose the screws. Removing the weather strip just in front of the fuse box (it just pulls off) makes access a little easier.

You might find somewhere like Harbor Freight has a bit set and driver fairly cheap. A magnetic one helps with reducing screw loss.

I don't think that one is magnetic but their website has a bad search function (or bad user! LoL)!
