Not able to sell anything. Throwing some stuff out and keeping the rest. Comment if you need something. Other than the AWD sys, I am not interested in putting out anymore effort.

I would love to salvage the rear axle but OK is a long way to ship or drag big parts home from me.

UPS gave me a rough estimate of $308.79 to Albany, NY which includes a $75 discount. If I only charged $100...
Well it wouldn't be economical. But you could buy the rest of the car if you wanted. Probably only good for parts. Although the seller says it had a backfire before he parked it. Now that I think about it. Timing may have jumped after that 25% of belt shredded and resulted in ignition issue.

Fastenal has/had a way to ship stuff between their stores, has to be strapped to a pallet so they can fork it. Used it a few times some years ago, it's a less-than-truckload deal, they didn't guarantee a time. Might be an option for high-value hard to get parts for the AWD crowd.

Let’s try get a Fastenal quote from Antlers to Albany…

$500 all in to my door is ok on my budget for a rear axle and fuel tank assembly. I’ll also work on a possible “ Milgram ship” where we pass it from person to person.

When I get back to DE I'll dig out my old paperwork from the couple times I used them. Pretty painless; the fee was based on miles as opposed to size or weight. A guy in the Studebaker crowd strapped a '49 truck cab to a pallet and off it went.

Antlers is hiding away from the herd, bucking a trend of moving back to the City.

Grab some photos of the bolts on the rear axle for me to see if this is going to come off.

It used to be - and seems like in Canada it still is - Third Party Logistics.
Only some locations participate - big enough to have a forklift, for instance. A phonecall to both ends of the pipeline would be prudent. My two experiences couldn't have been easier, although the second batch of wheels had come adrift on the pallet, and at some intermediate Fastenal they shrinkwrapped the whole mess ( Those Budd wheels for the 2R 3/4T Studebakers weigh 40 pounds each).

I got the car today after noon. Drove it home. Ran rough. Will get plenty of pics when I wake up later this morning.
