Volvo 240 1985 Ignition lock replacement
Recently my 240 Volvo was broken into and the ignition lock was damaged. I ordered a new lock from Classic Volvo Restoration but it seems to be a different part. The new part presses on the steering column instead of clamping on. I've attached a PDF to this post that seems to address this issue. However I'm still not 100% sure my 1985 will take this "inertia-limited steering column" lock. If anybody has any experience with this situation it would be helpful.
