Key fob Vs straight key 2011 XC90
Key fob Vs straight key 2011 XC90
I have two key fobs that work intermittently to start my 2011 XC90, yet I have a standard key (no fob, not the switch blade style, just a straight key with black rubber) that starts up the vehicle every time. I have to use the fob to lock/unlock the doors but the straight key to start the vehicle. I've changed the antenna that goes around the ignition twice. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and hopefully explain

Very rare for the fob chip to go bad but sounds as if that may be what has happened. May need to carry the fob and valet key together…
