Have ETS, CEL and ABS lit. Starts buts but wants to die. Had a fuel rail and coil replaced and it ran ok for day or 2. I went to the local auto store and got the codes but they're not in front of me right now. Should I just bring it in and have them run the codes, if so will they be able to decipher if it's the ABS or the ETS or is there a possibility both of them are going bad at the same time? The throttle module does have the white sticker. Over 200,000 miles.
Another random question is I did have the transmission wheel sensor replaced but that code came back on. Thanks for input.

Most auto shops can only read the ECM codes, not ABS or ETS codes so it is better to go to a Euro independent garage

Abscate is correct. When was your battery last changed or checked? When you start getting all the lights it can be low power in the battery on a 99- Volvo or possibly the ignition switch electrical portion. There are other options but if you started to get all of these when it was ok before I would get the codes checked and have the battery tested.

ETS has flared up in the past on and off. Kept the ABS at bay for years with spacer trick.
I do have codes 1026, 1027, 1028 . Is there a definitive code/factor that indicates throttle replacement or is it process of elimination and guesswork?
Any friendly Vida folks in Bay Area??? Battery 1-2 yrs old but it may have been drained a little so I will test that. Thank you for the suggestion.
I'm thinking I may replace that $35 little sensor before spending $300 on diagnostic just cuz.

Those are throttle body internal fault codes. The only higher level diagnostic is to monitor the two sensor positions in VIDA

For your ABS unit the goto is our friend Matty at Mid-West ABS. He had an exchange system were he can send you a repaired unit so you can swap yours out and return it as a core.

The ETS may well be getting to rebuild time. Xemodex is the main option or that.
