93 850 front bumper plastic trim removal

I've been searching old posts because I know this was answered, but I just can't find it...

Could someone post the instructions on how to removed the two plastic trim pieces on the front bumper, please and thanks (I think someone posted a VADIS photo of it last year...)

Yup MIJ, that's the photo I remember, but I thought it had (or maybe someone wrote underneath) the instructions on how to remove those two plastic pieces from the front corners... How do they pop off?

I don't know...no instructions I saw in VADIS...just the diagram.

Hi Maxbaby,
Recently I removed a front bumper from a scrapped 850 1996 but looking at the Vadis drawing on my pc, there doesn't seem to be much difference. I would suggest that you consider removing the whole of the plastic trim and then removing the specific parts. Removing the plastic trim involves undoing the bottom 1 or two fixings for the wheelarch splashguard on both ?fenders then going underneath the bumper and undoing the torx bolts. the rest of the bumper will stay attached to the car.

Well I figured it out... they actually just pry out carefully. There are a series of tabs along the edges of the panels which squeeze into the bumper itself. I used a flat blade screwdriver and got them off. Now i can clean them up and spray them (Bumper Black).
