Those are so pretty. Are they domestic US cars? Or grey market over here?

Nope, they sold them new here. Something like '81-'87..?? It was based on the 4 cylinder Alfetta GT which is the same shape, but they fitted it with the fantastic Busso V6 and rear transaxle 5 speed. Great balance, deDion rear suspension for perfect camber all the time, torsion bar front springs. The shape is a Giugiaro design from mid-70s.

They have a similar growl to an old flat 6 Porsche, with a high pitched Italian V6 wail on top of it.

Renault Alpine A110, also built in Spain. Initially came with a 1300cc engine outback and then later had a 1600cc option. Always wanted one but again the curse of the tall people is no way to fit!

WINNER!
One of The Great Engines. Maserati had just won the F1 Championship, but needed some income in 1957 to continue racing. The 3500GT series was based on a de-tuned version of the 350S race car engine. There were coupes and nottchbacks and the Spider bodied by Touring and Vignale and others. Michelotti designed the Vignale Spider, as well as the later 3500 Sebring Coupe.
