This says versions up to 1800cc and 185 hp. Won 5 of the top 6 places at the 1973 Monte Carlo Rally. Won the World Rally Championship.

The Trabant (Trabi's) were made in the former East Germany, not Russia. Bodywork was made from a kind of papier mache (paper and glue). 2 stroke air cooled engines.
