Funny to think back to first cars, and the relative age of them. I had a beat-to-sh!t '70 Bronco in 1977. How did they trash that thing in such a short time? I had a '73 Ford Capri in 1978 - only 5 years old.. Then a '70 Fiat 124 Spider (also trashed) in about 1980. After school I bought a '79 Scirocco in 1983.....50,000 miles, the newest car I've ever owned!

Now here's my son relying on a 37 yr old BMW... Nice work, Dad.

I thought my 924 was old when I owned it, but it was young, looking back...

This is a Ford GT40. This is actually a parts diagram produced by John Wyer racing because it was supposed to be a production car.

"Barn find" auction. A wildly random list - 230 cars, some very interesting and collectable.

^ Holy Crap ! A collection of that size held by one owner ? I honestly would forget what I owned.
But based on the video, there are some beauties.

I thought I read in there somewhere that they were started periodically, so apparently they function.

A woman I worked with for years and her wife spent time in the Sultanate of Oman, and bought one of these when they arrived. They soon discovered why it was common to see all manner of Porsches, Ferraris, Maseratis &c. abandoned on the side of the road. Nobody there could fix them.

I really like these - especially this early one in dark blue, burgundy, black. Ferrari - Maserati V8, fantastic engine. Closest I can claim to be was next to a parked one that started up and drove off....and next to an illegally parked one in downtown Boston when the alarm went off. We just kept moving!

But, I've read nothing but what a pain in the ass these are to keep running.

Get rid of the chrome wheels. Why is it at auction? ..blown up, wrecked, stolen?
