This is a trick question. I added clues. These are the new GTP class endurance cars.

Cadillac: 5.5L naturally aspirated V8. This is neither the LS block nor the Nascar block, but developed by GM racing.
BMW: 4.0L V8 turbo. Based on an older DTM V8 with a longer stroke.
Acura: 2.4L V6 turbo. This is essentially the Honda Indycar engine.
Porsche: 4.6L V8 turbo with a "hot V" design, meaning the intake and exhaust sides of the head are reversed and the turbos sit inside the V of the engine.

They are all limited by rules to 670 hp, which I think is a funny way to make them all competitive, rather than allow creative engineering to make more power.

PS - I can't spell Cadillac.

This way the driver wins the race not the car.

Agreed. But engineering and clever design also wins a race. Otherwise we’d race spec cars (like Indycars).

Oftentimes in sportscar racing, they use a Balance of Performance formula (BOP) to adjust cars so the fans have a good show with tight competition. Add 75 lbs of ballast to this one, reduce the intake horn diameter 2mm on that one to reduce power, reduce the fuel capacity of the other one so he has to pit more often. It’s an interesting if sometimes controversial method. One car will have more grunt on straights, one will corner better, one will have more effective downforce and therefore better braking and cornering speed. One gets better mileage and makes 8 fewer fuel stops in a long race.

When a new or redesigned car shows up for the season, officials look at stats - weight, assumed horsepower, everything - and take a stab at fair restrictions. But many teams will sandbag at early practice to make themselves look slow. Officials will try to leapfrog that and come up with numbers for every type of car entered.

This year a completely redesigned Porsche 911 arrived and since they are frequently top runners, the officials hit them with several restrictions. They were dogs! Back of the pack at the Rolex 24 and Sebring. Now there are factory protests to resolve this. Others were given unfair advantage with way more horsepower.

The Corvette was also pretty slow, with a completely different design format of naturally aspirated V8 in a longer, heavier car.

Sorry I forgot to come back to this!

This is a 1947 MGTC, with dealer plates in front of some stylish Los Angeles building with a starlet no doubt! American GI's discovered this car in England, and brought them home with them after the war. It was the beginning of the sportscar craze in America. It was light, fun, slow, and couldn't stop.

Too weird to guess probably. This is a Fiat 1100D from the mid-60s. It's like a puppy that follows you home and now I want to keep it.

The wagon was called a "familiare." The 1100D's were actually a 1200cc straight 4, rear wheel drive, 4-speed column shifter, unibody construction, cheap, and reliable (yes, a Fiat).

Knees if you're lucky. If you're staring at the stars on a nice evening with your head hanging off the end, it could be your own little 1789.
