My boyyyys! I know it's been a minute since you've seen my pixels. Work, work, work!

I have the opportunity to snag an '04 S60R who has been cared for by someone I trust. My much better half is mostly convinced that rare car should join the XC70 and XC90 (Benjamin and Norman, respectively) buuut asked that I make a post for my peeps here to sound off on.

Nial (short for Denial), has the 6 speed M/T with moonball shifter, 204k miles, full stainless exhaust, timing whatnots done at 197k, recent full PCV rebuild...and needs only shocks which I have looked at and prepared for.

My trusted-robot is selling because he is a car guy and moved on to his next shiny...some fancy Lexus thing. I made an appropriate face when he showed it off but really I was dreaming about the R.

Nial DOES need to join the stable! I saw a mug on Etsy that said, "One Volvo, Two Volvo, Three Volvo...more!" I will be a liar if I purchase it and do not acquire another Volvo. This will bring dishonor upon me and my cow.

I think he's blue. Looks blue to me! So yes, he'll match his brothers (including the wee NA Miata).

At least you have prepped yourself for the 4-C 3 setting shocks. The price is 'shocking' for these, especially when made by Munroe!!

Ha, I love these. Still working on my permission slip but I feel like I'm making headway! Good news is, RockAuto appears to sell the same Monroe 4-C shocks I'll need. Shame I lack the pavement for my Quickjack now.

Do any of you guys have experience with jack plates or whatever they're called? You know, how off-roaders and #farmlifers keep their stable running? I've SEEN THINGS overseas with my own eyes where cars are propped up with a lone railroad tie or similar sticks/blocks/mother-in-law's roast and I'd like to avoid crushing myself or our wild driveway bunnies.

I have secured permission and will pick him up in two weeks! Officially we're calling it an anniversary present. Lads take note: #2 is a car.

The plastic trim on the trunk in front of the spoiler is cracked and I can't seem to find it on a diagram to order. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
