SC-901 With Code

SC-901 radio with code. Tested and working great! All backlights are good, CD player works, and AM/FM and cassette all work great.
No CD magazine.
This radio requires a separate amplifier to work.

Do you have the amp and connector cable? Otherwise this unit is not much use other than to someone who already has one as the head unit has no pre-amp unlike the SC-8XX models with the single disc.

No, I don't have the amp or wiring with it. To be completely honest I couldn't even find the amp in the '04 C70 I pulled this from, so I didn't bother.
I know this requires an amp, but it's still worth money without it. I meant to add that into the original post, but I figured anyone on this site looking to buy one should probably know that already.
It's not too hard though to buy an amp and harness separately. They're not the easiest to find, but you can find them.

The amp on a C70 is usually in the trunk on the LHS behind the side panel.

Worth mentioning as not everyone who trolls on here is a Volvo nerd! I may still have a spare amp or 2 and wiring harnesses for a S/V70. Haven't found one in over a year now.

I had always heard it was in the dash behind the radio, but there was nothing there. I'll have to check again in the trunk if I'm back there before it's gone.

Yes, you can use any SC-901 radio in your car. I suggest looking on eBay or Facebook in your area.

Unless you already have a radio fitted with the Volvo amplifier, you will also need one of those and the harness that connects them both. The amplifiers can be found used as well as new ,as I believe the radios as well. The harness is much harder to find as people pull the radio and the amplifiers but don't take the harness which is no longer available and has not been for many years. Again used is the way to go.

I have all 3 but shipping to Finland would be huge!!
