I have $25,000. I need to replace my 1995 850. Do I want to go with Volvo anymore? The 850 just kept mounting up problems, and now it's repair needs are too many (Steering rack, exhaust manifold, leaks, A/C issues). We went to our local dealership to see what a Certified car would be... 2005 S60 AWD.
What models are 'more reliable'? I am not familiar with the newer units.
What kind of trouble am I asking for with this car, or any of the 'newer' vehicles? What can I expect as far as MPG? And, in all honesty, should I take my $25,000 and just buy a new Subaru, Prius or Japanese car?
PS...I have owned 122, 240, 740, 760, 850, S40....so I have stuck with Volvo through the years. I just don't know if it' "worth it".
Help me decide..
