anyone shed some light on these following messages which came up on my screen and what can be done about them please.?

SRS is the airbag or restraint system service. Unfortunately only the dealer can reset this light. The transmission service can be anything. I mentioned flushing the transmission. I know you're dealing with the solenoid but still flushing the transmission would be prudent. Make sure you use the correct fluid. Still at the beach. Fireworks are now starting from the pier, so I'm going.

ive now got the gearbox filter and waiting for the sale to come.
is dextron 3 oil the correct fluid?

Back on for a few minutes...not sure. It would say in your owner's manual. If you don't have one, take a look at www.volvousa.com and click into owner's library. You'll have to enter your email address and register but it will come up...then click on model year and car and you should find it...especially since your car was also sold in the U.S.
