I've followed this on and off, I appreciate his dedication to this build! Not many people mess with the NA engines. It's too easy to make power from the turbos in comparison.
It looks and sounds amazing though!

Complete move out of garage and shed from Albany house, new owners moved in last week.
Amtrak to Albany , arrive 2100 hours
Next day start at 0630 with Bus to get Uhaul truck.
Finish at 2300 hours
Volvo content - borrowed Grunhilde to move boat to other driveway.
This morning I need 6 Aleve but the deed is done.
A while back, Donut Media featured a white volvo 240 build with a completely redone 2.9L i6 from a 960 with 6 of those ITBs. 320hp, 320tq
320 on an NA white block is very healthy. I belt it felt really great!
I edited that post just now. My windows were down. Shouldve said that to begin with. Sorry.scot850 wrote: ↑21 May 2023, 08:23 Don't understand why washer fluid would be dripping into the car unless the windshield has a leak in the seal, or your drains are blocked in the cowl area, or door seals are leaking. As to why the motor kept running, again, it is a fairly simple system. As you have a wagon, did both pumps run or just the front one? If both then you have a wiring issue probably at the switch end. If just the front one then more likely the switch end but I would check the connector at the pump. Weird the fuse was not fully home which may suggest something going on with the fuse box wiring?
If you are going to the junkyard again I would pull a spare switch as this will also potentially be the issue with the wipers too.
Lastly, if you are going back for the wiring, the car likely had the amplifier and harness as well. Again worth pulling as the harness is NLA.
