When I bought my first Volvo (a 1965 Volvo 122S) back in 1975, I was too young to drive on Scottish roads. The reason for the car being relatively cheap (a whole 100 pounds) was it came with a spare engine in the trunk. The owner had not put anti-freeze in the coolant and it froze and put a rod through the side of the block when the freeze plugs popped and it lost all the coolant.
Anyway, to get the car home meant a 17 mile tow on the end of a rope on windy narrow country roads. Mum drove the 1966 Ford Transit 12 seat mini-van and Dad piloted the Volvo. Today that would probably get you thrown in jail, but back then it was still legal but questionably so!
After about an hour and a half we got back safely! That is when my love of Volvos started!
Neil.

I not only need a set of front carpet floor mats but also the front carpets and the padding beneath them. The T5M I bought had the same driver's foot in the same spots for 19 years, wearing holes straight through to the metal. I really need to visit more junkyards to watch for these parts.
That's your good karma at work again. What keeps breaking in the fuel system?

bmdubya1198 has that silver S70 with what looks like charcoal mats, I've forgotten what your T5M has.FireFox31 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 08:41 I not only need a set of front carpet floor mats but also the front carpets and the padding beneath them. I've got the carpeted mats in my 850, and I love them. The S70 came with the rubber Volvo mats (but stuck in the trunk for some reason). I didn't like the look of the OEM S70 mats, so I put the Rensi mats in that I originally purchased for the 850. I suppose I should try cleaning up the rubber Volvo mats to see what they really look like.

I need great condition interior carpeting in 3960 light beige for a 1998 V70. I certainly need all front mats, carpeting, and padding. I would like the trunk carpeting due to sun fade and might need the rear carpeting. Would be ideal if all this carpeting came from the same car to show uniform wear.bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 13:20 I'm parting a white S70 currently, I can't remember if it has mats in it or not.
I'd love a set of rubber mats for the four seats and the trunk.

Unfortunately I don’t think I have any of that currently. I may have a set of 3960 mats, but I’m not certain.FireFox31 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 20:18I need great condition interior carpeting in 3960 light beige for a 1998 V70. 4cyl. My Toyota isn't broken, she just likes to drink oil. 286k on the clock. It looks fairly clean, "low mileage" supposedly. Has a burnt valve. But I'm going to go through it before it gets anywhere near my truck
