It's called an EZEBREAKER. Basically a small blasting system for breaking up boulders / rocks / cement. You drill a small ( 5/16" ) hole down 16" into the boulder, drop in a couple of charges, connect the 25" hose to the firing mechanism and the CO2 charging handle. Pull the trigger, and BOOM ! A buddy of mine has been breaking up boulders as big as VW's with his. Fun Fun !!

If you are not using a hammer drill with masonry bits you are wasting time and effort. And buy the best masonry bits like Milwaukee.

Sure you can. As I understand the rock drillers worked as a two man team. One held the drill and rotated while the other swung the hammer. Then they would swap. Sometimes they would miss the drill. Other dangers were cold, wet, rock falls, and explosions.
Give me an electric hammer drill any day.

I've had these for years, and they are great for overhead work, or when you're working on a ladder. Also good when under the car on your back. Strong enough to hold sockets.
