I replaced my radiator, and in so doing ran into some issues with the hood latch mechanism causing a dashboard error. After test driving the car after a tangential heater core issue, the car has no power. It feels like there isn't any turbo pressure, though I can still hear the turbo. I've checked all the connections and can't find any boost leaks.
Could the ECU be limiting power because of the hood latch mechanism? Anything else?

DId you listen to the engine with the hood up while it's running? You might hear a whooshing sound, pointing to the culprit.
I don't know of a hood latch sensor that reports in and reduces engine power. Not saying it doesn't exist.
My money's on a missed connection.
