^^^ tru

I was randomly cruising around the wilderness on the google and happened upon this nice green wagon on Nez Perce Pass at the Montana-Idaho border. This tiny road, which changes to dirt after a few miles, is a thin line between the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Sounds ominous. 3.5 million square miles, one road. At this pass is a big wide paved spot that's actually a helipad for forest firefighting.

Then later in the same region at a small lake in MT, here's the same car!

Upon further reflection, it would've been more obvious if I closed the back door first.

On the BBC -

These punks decided to ram and run a new Volvo police car off the motorway, and of course it held up just fine......

Very Ferrari-looking wheels.

Hence the name! Ferrari won 1-2-3 at the 1967 Daytona 24, with cars wearing these wheels. The car they named the 365GTB/4 (really?) was about to come out, and from the beginning it was called the Daytona, with these wheels, and the rest is history.
(They were a dealer-installed option on Alfas)
