Purchased a clean 98' S70 with 5-speed manual. One of those " I can't pass this up" kind of things. This car looks like it really doesn't need much, it was well taken care of. A one owner (Swedish Lady) car until last year! Even the AC works and it has a brand new compressor.

Oh, those seats! 100% perfect from what I can see, and heated too. How many miles? Where did you find such a deal? What will you do with it considering everything else in your stable?
Seeing the interior makes me convinced that 1998 tan carpet and floor mats faded/discolored differently. The carpets turn a kind of pink while the mats stay tan. I see it on junkyard cars but seeing it on this well kept one confirms it. That didn't really happen on my three 2000's. I planned to combat this discoloration for the rehab of my 98 T5M, but perhaps I won't worry. My hope is that 99-00 unfaded carpets will fit in the 98.

Yes, the seats are in really nice shape, even the driver seat has minimal wear. The car has NO sun damage, which leads me to believe it was garaged all it's life until last year, which is when PO bought it.
My 99' S70 is still dead in the water, and I miss having a weekend stick/ backup car. This car will fill the void until the other one is running again. At that point I will re- evaluate.
The V70 is my DD, 850 is daughters car, 240 is other daughters car (3 seasons that is).
