Are my seats real leather?

Both of my front seats look like this, and feel harder/plasticy compared to the rear seats. It seems that it has gotten worse recently. And I think the 100 degree weather has damaged it. Can this be fixed with some leather restoration stuff. Are theses seats even real leather? I dont think leather is supposed to do this. My Volvo is a 2002 v70XC .

They are real leather but only on the seating surface and the front pockets. The sides and backs are fake leather as is the shift boot and e brake boot and console armrest. The leather portion is painted, not tanned, and can be cleaned up with a leather cleaner and followed up with a leather conditioner. I recently used Chemical Boys leather cleaner with a drill brush with outstanding results. They are actually very high quality car seats, the leather wears well although the stitching often comes apart on the driver's seat and the side bolster on the seat back wears early from large drivers getting in and out. I reskinned my drivers seat with a passenger side seat that looked like it had never been sat in.

Haha! Or maybe small people wear the side bolsters because they have the seat so far forward!
