I did some more smoke testing after your comment, and I found some leaks on the intake plastic it self, now im trying to figure out where I can buy that, so far I've only found do88's custom intake

Big question: has it ever passed smog in the past with the dp and 350 cell cat? if not, I would highly suspect these mods. if it has, look elsewhere.
scot850 has a very good point. a bad ETC would screw everything up, including cold start idle. Be sure to buy a good quality part.

For reference, I have a Ferrita downpipe with a 200cell cat on my car, it's tuned for E85 and I got through inspection.
0.1% CO at idle and 0.25% when revved up (I think around 3500rpm), 0.998 lambda.
I usually drop my car for the day at the inspection place, but with the sport cat I drove it hard right before the inspection to get the cat real hot.

In Sweden, check GCP.SE for OE parts. They bought Volvo's part for older cars and supply Volvo Classic with parts.

A few years ago I found and bought an intake snorkel tube from the airbox to the turbo at: junk.se

Got my hands on a new intake snorkel, volvo original, drove it on 98 octane with no issues, Tried 95 octane E10 when my 98 was out and got engine light same code, I think I might have to go to a new tuner, Maybe the map was poorly made… thank you guys for all the tips and tricks, I will be swapping the ETC even if it might be fine it’s surely time for it anyways since it’s so old, Also my long term fuel trim hangs around 8% -9% with the new intake, Pretty high? I did a full reset when I swapped it, Removed battery for 30 minutes

In Europe, I seem to recall Vernet made the original ECT. We don't get the option to buy that over here. It is that or OE only we have found.

Good Luck!

Should add that E10 fuel is supposed to work with our cars but no higher than 10%.

Well, Just my luck, since I got my hands on the last fresh air intake I guess, I did another smoke test to make sure there was no leaks anywhere! Well guess what, The new intake with the premounted PTC /Grommet leaks a lot 😵‍💫

Small update, fabricated my own fresh air intake, With aluminium pipe and silicone hose, Welded nipples for the vac lines and PTC, I smoke tested the vehicle, there is no leaks in any hoses, no smoke coming out, also checked under the engine cover no smoke, when I open the oil cap smoke pours out, so its safe to say its not leaking? However, im still getting large Long term fuel trims around 11-12.5%! And Short term fuel trims at 4 to -4 % is this normalt for a tuned car? Or where should I start looking now? Will update pictures of the OBD TRIMS when I get home, as well as with MAF and coolant temps.

ImageOk here is as I said, Fuel trims none which are above 90 KMH, I tried to stay at the highway as much ass possible, and then video with fuel trims which stay negative in the start on short term, then start going positive, but here you can see the info I gained today, and as I said, I have zero vacum leaks, The turbo gauge also shows perfect vacum where as if I engine break the vacum is at - 0.9.bar If I'm at idle the vacum is at - 0.85 bar. If I push the throttle the boost goes to 1 bar and stays there until I shift or left of the throttle.

once I parked to cooldown the vehicle the coolant temp went up to about 102-105 celcius, And the fan did not turn on? as someone commented before I am replacing the ECT If that has something to do with that?

The engine shows no hesitation, However when I am starting the car, the first few seconds when it's cold it's still sputtering, this disappears real quick. Uploading video.

Anyone got any ideas what I can do now? I'm going mental :|

abscate wrote: 24 Aug 2023, 08:14 The long term fuel trim tells you the car is running very close to stoichiometric. Simply out, the cat is not covering CO to CO2 so you fail emissions.

Solution. New cat. Cost will tell quality
Did like you said installed a new cat, went from 0.8 CO 2500 to 0.5 still not passed.

Co 0.0 (0.5)
Co 2500 0.5 (0.3)
Lambda 1.03 (0,96-1.04)
HC 33 (200)
These are the results () is the allowed without is my results.

Also replaced ECT, Termostat, Fuel filter, filled up the tank with 98 octane.

Did a smoketest for 2 hours no leaks.
