LED headlights and dash error message. Now what?

LED headlights and dash error message. Now what?

2006 xc70 Has anyone installed resistors to null the dash messages? Lights are great, but I want to install the resistors to eliminate the problem. Please, don't suggest other LED bulbs, I am satisfied with these, just need instructions as to what size resistors and placement. Since they get quite hot, can I locate the resistors outside of the headlight housing, using long leads from the connection to the engine compartment. Any issues that I need to be concerned with?
