Many of my generation question why young people can’t break out of the nest.
It’s real simple. Rents are astronomical. As a society , we have decided to let housing be a financial instrument vs a societal need. In civilized societies , it has to meet both. We are failing here.
It makes much more sense to live home and bank retirement than paying some investor $3500 a month

Way to go with your "kid". Must be good parenting since they don't come with a manual and you cant connect them to VIDA DICE to figure it out.. It ain't easy. Great job to both parents and kid!
