When the temp outside gets close to 100 F, I get a very strong odor coming from the engine after I turn it off. This odor is not pleasant to smell, in fact it could gag you if you were to smell it very long. It does'nt smell like a gas leak. Does anyone have an idea?

Could it be oil running onto a hot surface?

I do have a rear seal engine leak, maybe that is the problem.

It could well be that if it is hitting the exhaust.
