FCP Euro has both of those for $150 with free shipping. I used the Nissen one and so far so good. It has only been a month though...

Ah, I didn't read all your posts. I heard good things about the TRQ brand. You can get a radiator for your car here: https://www.1aauto.com/search?q=radiato ... y=radiator. I have not used any of their parts yet, but they have phenomenal videos that I used when replacing stuff on my volvo.

Thanks - that's another one to consider. There is very little out there that fits and is actually available or in stock. I had settled on an OSC radiator which seems to get comments/reviews but who knows. There is a lot of junk out there now. What I liked about my V70 is that you could still get good quality parts for it even when it was 25 years old.02V70 wrote: ↑07 Sep 2023, 14:55 Ah, I didn't read all your posts. Nice to hear from you again. We welcome any adult here with car problems , no issues.
Ive had good experience with TYC electrics, headlights, sidelights. I haven’t used a radiator.
Does the Ranger used a cored radiator or a plastic aluminum hybrid like Volvo?

Good to hear from you too abscate. The radiator is a plastic aluminum hybrid.
I've bought TYC parts for my volvo and a few the ranger. The results were mixed. The rear view mirrors for the ranger vibrated annoyingly and the glass broke on the drivers side when I was adjusting it one day. The rear lens for the blinker and brake lights was/is OK but it doesn't fit quite right. The headlights for the volvo worked for a while but they didn't fit quite right and the adjustment didn't work well either. I ended up replacing them.
Anyhow. my current dilemma is finding a non-junk radiator for my 96 3.0L V6 ranger (automatic). Tasca says they have a motorcraft radiator but I doubt it since its been discontinued for years and is out of stock everywhere. I sent them a question about it but got no response.
The brands I'm currently considering are OSC, mishimoto (if they make one for the ranger - can't remember), and TRQ. I can get an OSC from summit racing locally. I'm attracted to the all aluminum ones but haven't found one that is a direct fit (most are too thick for the 3.0L and/or is not obvious quality). Champion has one for a 4.0L (too thick) but it would probably require a new shroud and a bunch of tinkering to make it fit. I have three vehicles and all three are broken at the moment (ranger undriveable) so I don't need another project - I want to just drop it in.
The truck is an antique and belonged to my dad before he died. I like it and would like to keep it running for a long time. So, I'm trying to put good quality parts in it,
