2001 S60 non-turbo, auto trans.

Car runs good when the engine is cold. Then after the car is good and warmed up,..usually about half an hour or so of driving time, theres a dramatic change. It's like flipping a switch, the engine starts missing, sometimes so bad that no matter how much peddle you apply the engine will just spit and sputter..complete loss of power . Transmission messes up horribly too. Down shifts HARD!,Transmission Misses, slips, and shifts HARD while accelerating through the first couple of gears also. This transmission was rebuilt less than a year ago. its still under a two year warrantee. ??spell? Its never been right sense ive owned it. Oh yea..the car has 170,000 miles....Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rebuilt by whom?
NO ONE I know of can rebuild these properly except the rebuilts you buy from Volvo

The transmission was rebuilt by a reputable shop here in town using genuine volvo parts kits.

WRONG
Volvo does not provide (or recommend) a genuine transmission repair kit for the AW-55. These kits are aftermarket ONLY.
These are incredibly tricky transmissions and 99% of people that try to rebuild them can't and f**k it up even worse
