I am having a similar problem right now, except unplugging the MAF doesn't do anything. It didn't start about a week ago, but me and a friend just ended up unplugging the MAF and plugging it in again, and it worked. It did it to me again last night, but nothing we could try worked. I got a code off my friends ODB that is P0103. From what I found, it means that it is receiving "higher than expected voltage (air flow)."

Any ideas?
