06 S60 R alignment numbers

Post by erikv11 »

Over the last year/10k I've gradually replaced much of the aging steering and suspension parts:

front strut spring seats and misc hardware (PO installed nice new 4C shocks with junk supporting parts)
front sway bar end links (torn boots but no play yet)
rear shocks (these were the factory parts and completely shot)
rear shock hardware
rear sway bar end links
front control arms and ball joints (all bushings showed damage; these worked but were the factory parts)
outer tie rides both sides (had a couple mm of noticeable play; these were the factory parts)
inner tie rides both sides (seemed fine but these were the factory parts)

Since the tie rods (and control arms) we're done this weekend, and it should be good for a while (haha!), it was time to get it aligned.

I'm not an expert; what do you think of these numbers, would you be happy with them?

The forum has trouble sensing orientation for some vertical images. Here's the fixed version.

The best way to post verticals is to put them in some photo manipulation software, ensuring they're vertical there or adjusting as necessary, then export and upload here. (sorry)

That's about as good as it can get for the age of the car and the adjustments available. Toe and camber are the main numbers and when you set those all the others will change accordingly. Using a measuring tape and doing basically the same thing as FCP I shoot for 1/16" differential front tire toe in compare with the back tread of the tire. The P2's may have a rear toe adjustment.

There aren't any factory camber adjustments both front and rear so as we use to say "Set The Toe & Let It Go".
