Volvo 850 Turbo Estate Model

Post by 850 LPT »

I friend of mine bought a house that had a lot of stuff in it from the previous owner. He came across this 1/24 Tamiya model and thought of me. Pretty cool, it appears to me that it's complete. Not that I see myself ever having the patience or time for something like this.

Do people still model anymore, or has that become a lost hobby?

I built cars , trains, and flyable planes as a kid - developing good fine motor skills that turned out to be useful 8n optics and medicine

I don't know, but the hobby has certainly lost a lot of it's appeal to the younger generation. I too built RC model ships and always enjoyed that.
Once every couple of years I put up my Maerklin Gauge 0 model train, that's always great fun.
