Hello,
I have a problem with the battery drain of the volvo S60 2002 of my mom. I have checked the fuses and pulled all 100 of them and found nothing of change in terms of battery draw, which is at a WHOPPING 2 AMPS! I mean it's huuuge!
So, I have been to 2 mechanics and none have found it and I have crafty hands and been tickering with it also and found nothing. Only thing one of the mechanics said to me was that something is up with the rear right door. I was wondering if any of you guys have ANY idea that I can throw at this problem? I really REALLY would appreciate it. My mom is being hysterical about it and wants me to fix it and the girl does not understand her switches from sockets yet wants me to get it done ASAP. Yeah! Bad situation!
Please anyone, give me a hand over here. I would appreciate it very much! Thanks!

Alarm siren located behind the passenger headlight. By the book you have to pull the wheel well liner in order to access it, but going through headlight is easier in my experience. At least on XC70 that has sturdy fender flares.
The alarm has been off since time of memorial, so why would it be the alarm now all of the sudden?
a friend of mine did one of the detective things on the car, you know with the computer - he said something with the car. the locking mechanism. do you think there is something to it?

Try finding the fuse for the locking system, remove the fuse, and test again. If the 2 amp load is removed, this will tell you if the locking system has a problem.
